Vietnam accelerates its tax digitalisation strategy

Vietnam’s Ministry of Finance has announced a major push to modernise the country’s tax administration through a nationwide digitalisation strategy. The reform, presented as part of the Tax Administration Modernisation Plan 2025, aims to simplify compliance procedures, improve transparency, and strengthen the government’s capacity to detect fraud and manage revenue in real time.
