The United Kingdom is preparing a significant overhaul of its tax treatment of Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs), a hybrid corporate structure long considered one of the cornerstones of British business law. According to recent reports, HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is assessing measures that could effectively eliminate the fiscal advantages enjoyed by LLPs, aligning their tax burden with that of traditional limited companies.
