The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has announced the expansion of its Tax Inspectors Without Borders (TIWB) initiative, a pioneering programme aimed at strengthening the tax capacities of developing countries. Under the name ‘TIWB 2.0’, this new phase marks a turning point in the global fight against tax evasion, aggressive planning and tax inequality, in a context of increasing digitalisation and globalisation of the economy.
